Christian Transformation | Romans 12:1–2

What does it really mean to know and live in the will of God? In this sermon from Romans 12:1–2, we explore the call to present our bodies as a living sacrifice and to be transformed by the renewal of our minds.

Paul reminds us that God’s will is not primarily about the specific choices we make—where we live, what job we take, or even who we marry—but about who we are becoming in Christ. God’s will is that His people would be thankful, wise, trusting, pleasing to Him, and victorious over evil.

Through the mercies of God, we are invited into true worship: offering ourselves fully to Him, being renewed in our thinking, and finding joy in His perfect will. Along the way, we see how spiritual practices like prayer, Scripture, and the Lord’s Supper shape us—not by mere ritual, but by devotion to Christ Himself.
