Immorality, Part 2:

In Part 2 of Pastor Anthony's sermon "Immorality," from Jude, we explore one of the most sobering and hope–filled themes in all of Scripture: the return of Christ as Judge and the purification of all things.

Jude quotes the ancient words of 1 Enoch to remind the church that the Lord comes with ten thousands of His holy ones—a symbolic picture of the fullness of heaven converging upon earth. Scripture teaches that when God’s holy presence arrives, everything impure is exposed and removed. Judgment is not merely punishment; it is purification.

But Jude’s warning is not aimed at “those out there.” It is aimed at us.

Before the final day, Jude calls the church to examine our own hearts—especially in a world (and sometimes in a church) that justifies what God condemns and speaks against Him while claiming His name. Jude exposes the underlying root of all sin: disloyalty to God, expressed in grumbling, discontentment, self-serving desire, boasting in self, and using others for personal advantage.
